Job Summary
An online education provider is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Instructional Designer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Designing, developing, implementing and maintaining online academic courses and programs
- Developing instructional content and supporting materials for new course development, course maintenance and course revisions
- Ensuring course and program content meet both academic and design standards set forth by the institution
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelors' degree in Education, Instructional Design, Graphic Design or related field required
- Minimum three years' experience designing materials in a content developer role
- Demonstrated interpersonal and organizational skills
- Experience using and/or developing with some, if not all, of the following applications: Blackboard LMS, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, Captivate, Audacity, Adobe Premiere, SoftChalk, Web Conferencing tools, Brainshark, HTML, Articulate, Captivate Adobe, SnagIt, Microsoft Office (particularly Word, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated ability in creation and delivery of a variety of training approaches (in-person, online synchronous and asynchronous)
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to a variety of audiences in both verbal and written forms
