Job Summary
A specialty risk management advisory firm has a current position open for a Telecommute Insurance Underwriter.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Analyze prospective risks & propose benefits, terms & conditions & rates that will reasonably achieve targeted profit
- Answer questions, provide direction & make decisions on issues that arise on a day-to-day basis related to assigned accounts
- Review all documentation such as Slips, Cover Notes and Contract wording for accuracy
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of reinsurance underwriting experience
- Strong math or financial skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to work well in a team-based environment
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
