An indemnity company has a current position open for a Telecommute Insurance Underwriting Assistant.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Pre-underwriting and planning renewal business
• Providing necessary instruction to Underwriting Clerks and Policy Typists
• Conducting Ratings for new and renewal business

Skills and Requirements Include:

• College degree with a concentration in business or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of one year of wholesale insurance experience
• State specific Insurance License
• Underwriting Clerk experience or a minimum of three years general insurance experience
• Must be able to understand and analyze necessary components of insurance policies
• Good written and verbal skills
