Job Summary
A healthcare company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Insurance Verification Representative in Houston.
Must be able to:
- Follow scripted benefits verification and pre-certification format
- Contact physician to resolve issues regarding prior authorization or referral forms
- Perform electronic eligibility confirmation when applicable and document results
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Able to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing
- Able to establish and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Able to work effectively with other employees, patients and external parties
- Demonstrates proficiency in PC applications as required
- Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures and systems
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
