Job Summary
An insurance company is filling a position for a Telecommute Investigations Consultant in the Baton Rouge Area.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Gathering objective evidence in support of investigation outcomes
- Maintaining accurate, current and thorough case information
- Detecting fraudulent activity by members, providers, employees and other parties
Position Requirements Include:
- Travel 25 % of the time
- Intermediate level of proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
- An intermediate or better efficiency of knowledge with Local, State & Federal laws and regulations
- Undergraduate degree in the area of Criminal Justice, Business, or related field
- 5 years of experience working in a government, legal, health care, managed care and/or health insurance environment
- Must live within a commutable distance of this specific career opportunity
