Job Summary

A staffing agency needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute IT Technical Writer in Dallas.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Producing high-quality technical content for developers or DevOps engineers
  • Understanding all the core use cases for one or more technologies and thoroughly document them
  • Proactively responding to and seeking documentation feedback from internal and external customers

Qualifications Include:

  • Experience documenting APIs, SDKs, and cloud-based enterprise software
  • Experience with Git, Markdown, and working from the command line
  • Exceptional writing skills with a strong voice and sharp eye for structure
  • Understanding of agile software development
  • Experience with bug tracking system such as JIRA (or equivalent)
