- Develop and support actual Java server-side or desktop applications
- Participate in open source Java library projects
- Write secure code
Position Requirements Include:
- Every quarter, travel to an in-person meeting
- History developing and supporting actual Java server-side or desktop applications
- Participation in open source Java library projects
- Strong Computer Science background and understanding of algorithms and data structures
- Complete understanding of how to write secure code and an awareness of common web application security vulnerabilities
- Appreciation for testing and the ability to write unit tests using JUnit and other testing frameworks
