Job Summary

A professional communications company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Junior Technical Writer in Fairfax.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Writing, editing, and finalizing documents in support of Navy Directives
  • Preparing draft documents in line with the Naval Style Manual
  • Coordinating closely with Analysts and Project Counsels

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Ability to travel on-site for meetings and training
  • Bachelor’s in English, Political Science, Public Administration, or related
  • Minimum of 1 year direct technical writing experience
  • Strong command of the English language
  • Have or be able to obtain (and maintain) a government clearance
  • Expert-level skills with Microsoft Word/proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
