Job Summary

An information technology company has an open position for a Telecommute Kafka Engineer.

Must be able to:

  • Implement Kafka and Kafka Streams API using Java
  • Diagnose and resolve complex problems in all Kafka/Zookeeper environments
  • Develop and implement procedures that support, maintain and enhance the environment

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Java development in an enterprise environment
  • Background with Kafka, Kafka Streams, and Java
  • Able to containerize Java executable code using Docker
  • Able to interface with Python using Java
  • Able to deploy containers to operate within a Kubernetes cluster
