Job Summary

An information technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Kubernetes and Docker Developer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Reviewing current systems and tools and architect a containerized system
  • Developing software systems and tools
  • Designing and deploying service meshes, control panes, and custom exporters

Required Skills:

  • Experienced in general development, deployment, and operation of modern API-powered web applications using continuous delivery and Git in a Unix/Linux environment
  • Extensive experience with Docker, including deployment, versioning, and pipeline design
  • Experience with production Kubernetes environments, including design and implementation best practices, pods lifecycle management, high availability and game-day testing to Kubernetes services on AWS
  • Project management experience
  • CI/CD experience with Jenkins, CircleCI targeting Docker containers Infrastructure-as-Code design, deployment and best practices experience in real-world platforms (Terraform and Ansible).
  • Service meshes design and deployment for HTTP and TCP-based services
