Job Summary

A college is in need of a Telecommute Languages and Communications Program Chair.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Researching and assessing course materials
  • Serving as an arbitrator for faculty and student issues
  • Providing program oversight including support and leadership to instructors

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Participate in campus outreach, meetings, workshops and conferences as opportunities arise
  • Master’s degree with 18 graduate credit hours related to languages and communications from an accredited college or university within the seven regional accreditation commissions
  • 2 years of professional experience designing courses or teaching online
  • Familiarity with a course management system
