Job Summary

An information technology and marketing services company is seeking a Telecommute Lead Android Developer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
  • Designing, building, and maintaining high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code
  • Identifying and correcting bottlenecks and fix bugs

Qualifications Include:

  • Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Java/Kotlin, different versions of Android
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services using Retrofit
  • Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
  • Experience and working knowledge of RxJava2
  • Knowledge of open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available
