Job Summary
An insurance company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Lead Corporate Underwriter.
Must be able to:
- Utilize product line subject matter expertise to underwrite commercial accounts
- Measure and optimize portfolio profitability and growth by reviewing and analyzing underwriting data
- Build and maintain relationships with current and potential brokers and customers
Position Requirements Include:
- Ability to travel occasionally (approximately 5-10 trips per year)
- 7 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Ability to adhere to the underwriting framework by following internal guidelines
- Ability to mentor junior underwriters and participate in review and analysis of the portfolio
- Ability to collaborate with senior department leaders by sharing specialized knowledge
