A company that provides road trip planners is filling a position for a Telecommute Lead Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Working with stakeholders to build the best APIs for finding and serving up great place data
• Taking complex geo-data concepts and distilling them into powerful abstractions
• Helping make important architectural decisions for the company's data pipeline

Required Skills:

• A love of travel, especially road trips
• 5 years professional development experience
• B.S. or higher in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)
• Experience growing or working on a highly available web service at scale
• Experience with full stack web development and versatility across client, server and database
• Comfortable using Git and Linux command line
