A digital media company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Lifestyle Content Editor in the San Antonio Area.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Researching, assigning, editing, and occasionally writing articles
- Developing content strategies to ensure stable growth in the South
- Hiring, training and leading a team of producers, editors, and writers
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field
- 2-5 years of professional editing experience at a digital news publisher
- Exceptional verbal and written English skills, Spanish knowledge is an asset
- A passion for a mix of research, data & analytics, local news, and management
- An obsession with tight deadlines and team brainstorming
