Job Summary

A staffing agency is seeking a Telecommute Linux Engineer in Phoenix.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Resolving complex problems related to Ubuntu Server deployments
  • Supporting the Linux kernel
  • Working with networking and storage protocols and configurations

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Approximately 10% travel
  • Strong knowledge of Ubuntu and/or Debian foundational packages and development processes
  • Strong development experience with virtualization and container technologies
  • 5+ years’ Software Engineering experience with C
  • Experience with Kernel or server level development experience with applications
