Job Summary

A full-service IT solutions provider is filling a position for a Telecommute Linux Server Administrator.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on virtual machine administration in AWS
• Perform backup and recovery of Linux EC2
• Troubleshoot issues as they arise including configuration and performance issues

Position Requirements Include:

• Bachelor's Degree required, or 8 additional years of experience will be considered
• 5+ years of experience in LINUX system administration
• 3+ years of Unix/Linux Shell scripting, Bash, Perl, Python and other languages
• Network\Firewall configuration experience
• Experience supporting HTTP, FTP
• Strong aptitude to learn and adapt to technology
