Job Summary
A regional property and casualty insurance provider is seeking a Telecommute Management Liability Underwriting Specialist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze and evaluate risk exposure through appropriate risk documentation
- Apply knowledge and understanding of coverage forms, rating plans and guidelines
- Work within specific authority level to quote, accept, decline, modify and renew risks
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Travel 25% to 35%
- Well-developed technical and analytical underwriting expertise and negotiation skills
- 6+ years of Management Liability or Specialty Liability Lines experience
- Pursuit of Management Liability Insurance Designation – Management Liability Insurance Specialist
- Must have valid state-issued driver’s license in good standing and be able to drive an automobile
- Strong financial acumen – understand financial statements/data, 5500’s, 990’s, and ratios used in analysis
