A human resources outsourcing company is seeking a Telecommute Medical Biller in Raleigh.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Obtaining referrals and pre-authorizations as required for procedures
• Checking eligibility and benefit verification
• Preparing, reviewing, and transmitting claims

Position Requirements Include:

• High school diploma
• Knowledge of business and accounting processes
• 1+ years working in medical billing.
• Knowledge of HMO/PPO, Medicare, Medicaid, and other payer requirements
• Use of computer systems, software, 10 key calculator
• Knowledge of medical terminology
