Job Summary

healthcare company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Medical Coder III.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Coding all of the following: inpatient and/or outpatient hospital records, ED records, Home Health & Hospice records, etc
• Using the internet and other electronic resources for the purpose of research

Skills and Requirements Include:

• Three to five years' experience as a coder required
• Must have any one of the following coding certifications at time of hire: CCS, CCS-P, CPC-H, or RHIT/RHIA
• High School Diploma or GED
• achievement of one of the coding credentials above within one year of hire
• Must possess computer skills including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
