Job Summary

A specialized health care provider is in need of a Telecommute Medical Coding Compliance Auditor.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Reviewing physicians' dictation for appropriate coding and support
  • Assisting business operations/revenue cycle with diagnosis related claim denials
  • Performing internal compliance reviews, audits, risk assessments and staff education

Required Skills:

  • 2 years current CPT/ICD coding experience in a medical office
  • E/M experience
  • A valid coding certification (Examples: AAPC/CPC or AHIMA)
  • Familiarity with coding software
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
