Job Summary
A staffing firm is seeking a Telecommute Medical HCC Coder in Miami.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Identify, collect, assess, monitor and document claims and encounter coding information
- Review medical record information to identify all appropriate coding based on CMS HCC categories
- Verify and ensure the accuracy, completeness, specificity and appropriateness of diagnosis codes
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Coding certification through AHIMA / AAPC is required
- 1+ years of working as a certified medical coder
- Minimum of GED or High School Diploma is required and will be verified
- 13 months of HCC coding experience
- Technically savvy
