Job Summary

A physician advisor services provider is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Medicare Appeals Medical Director.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Reviewing charts online in hospital EMR
  • Assessing chart information to create appropriate appeal argument
  • Document and record findings in the Information system and writing an appeal letter

Qualifications for this position include:

  • MD or DO active license – required
  • Medical degree and postgraduate medical training from accredited clinical programs
  • Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Hospitalist background only
  • Current or recent inpatient hospital experience – a must
