Job Summary
A travel company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Meeting Program Manager in Cleveland.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Planning and managing complex meetings, conferences, and/or conventions
- Managing and utilizing an internal and client version program timeline
- Tracking and managing hotel and vendor attrition, cancellation and deposit schedules
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Ability to travel on-site as directed and serve as lead representative for suppliers and client
- Minimum 4 years' experience coordinating/planning incentives, conventions, conferences/special events
- Minimum 4 years' experience managing outside vendors, sourcing and negotiating contract services
- Full proficiency in word processing and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience planning and operating a minimum of 2 complex logistic, 500+ participant travel/meeting programs
