Job Summary

A defense solutions company is filling a position for a Telecommute Mixed Signal Electrical Design Engineer II.

Must be able to:

  • Be responsible for the design, development, and verification of read-out ICs (ROICs) for visible and infrared focal plane arrays
  • Evaluate various aspects of the process flow from design to synthesis, place and route, timing and power use
  • Determine architecture design, logic design, and system simulation and define module interfaces ats for simulation

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • At least 6 years of experience in full-custom CMOS Integrated Circuit (IC) design at the transistor level
  • Strong working knowledge of semiconductor device physics, semiconductor processing, linear IC design, simulation, layout, and testing
  • Familiarity with IC Design Flows, CAD tools, and statistical design
  • Experience with analysis and programming using MATLAB
  • Experience with at least one computer programming or scripting language
  • Knowledge and ability to hand layout critical analog and mixed-signal circuits
