Job Summary

A provider of mortgage services is filling a position for a Telecommute Mortgage Underwriter II.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Analyze and review documentation in file to verify accuracy of application
  • Review moderately complex applications
  • Calculate income based on tax returns and/or other income documents in file

Position Requirements Include:

  • Previous experience with manual underwriting (downgrades)
  • 2-4 years of mortgage banking underwriting experience
  • Familiarity with appraisal vendors and Interthinx type tools
