Job Summary

A recruiting and staffing agency is seeking a Telecommute Mortgage Underwriter in Cary.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Working on loan processing for mortgage loans
  • Analyzing risk to determine if the terms of loan are acceptable
  • Investigating to make sure application and documentation are accurate

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Solid mortgage underwriting experience utilizing AUS and manual underwriting
  • Experience with income calculations including personal and corporate tax forms
  • A clear understanding of the current RESPA laws and guidelines
  • Thorough knowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA guidelines and standards
  • Experience in Appraisal Review
