Job Summary
A non-profit organization is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Movement Building Organizer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Organizing creative and impactful national distributed actions on immigration
- Executing digital strategies for engaging the campaign's diverse members and followers
- Creating and maintaining partnerships with organizations and informal networks of women who are not directly impacted by immigration policies
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- At least 5-years of organizing experience, with some experience with distributed organizing at a national scale
- Experience leading campaigns, mobilizing advocates, or engaging with leaders as part of the pro-immigration movement
- Demonstrated familiarity with digital platforms
- Understanding of social, economic and racial justice issues and challenges facing immigrant communities, communities of color, and low-income families and women
- Outcome-focused, detail oriented and organized
- Dedication and ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends
