Job Summary
A clinical trial company has a current position open for a Telecommute Network Security Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Planning, designing, implementing and maintaining all layers of the company network stack
- Fulfilling roles as a backup to other network engineers on projects
- Configuring and supporting company Firewalls, routers, switches and other network equipment
Required Skills:
- Travel 0-10% of the time
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience, and any level Cisco network certification
- 2+ years experience in Information Technology that included network specific tasks and responsibilities
- Ability to deploy and support enterprise level network devices such as firewalls, routers, switches, wireless, etc.
- Experience with SD-WAN, WAN-OPT and Load Balancers
- Working knowledge of MSFT security-related solutions and hardening processes and COTS security solutions
- Experience using security solutions such as AV, SIEM, FIM, VPN, IPS and internet security services
- Past experience in building, designing or supporting network and security infrastructure with public clouds
