Job Summary
An online university is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Nursing and Health Sciences Core Faculty Member.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Develop curriculum and assessment strategies and translate subject matter online
- Facilitate course discussions and ensure active participation among learners 3-6 days per week
- Resolve learner/academic focused problems relative to achievement
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Travel as required (e.g., residency, accreditation visits, etc.)
- A doctorate – level degree is required from a regionally accredited institution
- Two- years teaching in a relevant academic or practice setting
- Online teaching experience
- Experience that demonstrates an understanding of the specific needs of the non-traditional adult
- Relevant practice experience in area of teaching or mentoring
