A health information management company is in need of a Telecommute Oncology Data Consultant I in Houston.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Performing abstracting, case-finding and follow-up activities
• Serving as quality control specialists editing abstracts and resolving errors
• Communicating professionally and effectively with clients, managers and co-workers both orally and utilizing electronic methods

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• 3 years experience in Cancer Registry required
• CTR credentials required
• Credential validation updates required cyclically
• Must maintain 95% quality and accuracy rate on all work assigned
• Must possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to adhere to deadlines
