Job Summary

An information technology company is filling a position for a Telecommute Oracle Database Consultant .

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Coordinating, analyzing, designing, implementing and administering IT solutions
  • Administering backup procedures and disaster recovery plans
  • Presenting technical courses to customers

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Experience installing, configuring and upgrading Oracle databases
  • Experience designing and implementing various Oracle backup/recovery strategies
  • Experience with Oracle customer support, tools, and replication and slave setup
  • Understanding of current IT service standards such as ITIL
  • Degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, related field, or equivalent experience
