Job Summary
A medical benefits management solutions company has a current position open for a Telecommute Orthopedic Surgery Associate Medical Director.
Must be able to:
- Review requests for clinical studies
- Review appeals for denied services
- Document all actions related to clinical review sessions
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Continued support and hands-on training in the Melbourne, FL office
- M.D. or D.O. with a current, active, U.S. state medical license
- Board certified in a clinical specialty recognized by the ABMS
- Recent practice experience in direct patient care (within the past 18 months)
- Knowledge of applicable state and federal laws
- Familiarity with automated processes, computer applications and systems
