Job Summary
An independent medical oncology and hematology practice is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Payer Relations and Business Strategy Director in Fort Myers.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Support the Pharmacy organization(s) with day-to-day contracting operations and activities
- Negotiate and manage the facilitation and implementation of Third Party/Medicare/Medicaid agreement(s)
- Assist in resolving billing or other contractual opportunities with third parties
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Valid state Driver’s License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings
- 5 Years’ experience or more in Payer Contracting
- 5 Years’ experience or more working in the Pharmacy Industry
- Ability to interpret contract intent
- Working knowledge of PBM/Medicare/Medicaid Reimbursement Methods
