Job Summary

A health services company has a current position open for a Telecommute Pharmacy Customer Service Team Leader.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Preparing monthly team schedules while taking into consideration call volumes and more
  • Monitoring incoming calls and back-office duties for purposes related to compliance
  • Documenting administrative prior authorization (PA) request inquiries, issues, status, and resolution

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Completed Associate’s Degree as a Pharmacy Technician or a Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • 2 years or more of experience as a team leader or supervisor
  • 5 to 6 years of experience working in pharmacy or healthcare call center areas
  • Current/Active Certified Pharmacy Technician License is a big plus
  • Knowledge of pharmacy benefit management (PBM) clinical operations and Medicare Part D is preferred
