Job Summary
A hospital has a current position open for a Telecommute Physician Coder II.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Accurately assigning diagnosis and procedure codes
- Completing daily productivity logs
- Assigning diagnosis and procedure codes using current version ICD and CPT-4 classification systems
Qualifications Include:
- Completion of an AAPC approved Coding Certificate Program or equivalent education program
- Three years or more of multi-specialty coding experience
- CPC, CCS, or CCA
- Proficiency in CPT and current ICD code assignment
- Ability to use online coding tools and EMR systems
