Job Summary

A fitness and exercise company is in need of a Telecommute Platform Firmware Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Architecting, developing, and defining our Android platform and other embedded systems
  • Helping to define product requirements
  • Helping to customize, improve, and troubleshoot test applications used on the manufacturing line

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
  • Experience in one: Media Player Framework, WiFi & BT Communication Stacks, Custom AIDL interfaces, Java application
  • 5+ years of experience of software development experience
  • Experience in driving and delivering features from initial conception through production
  • Practical knowledge of AOSP, Android, or embedded Linux integration
  • Proven experience with the Android platform at all layers
