A healthcare company has an open position for a Telecommute Principal Research and Analytics Data Scientist.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Improving and extending the analytic methods in our products
• Conducting hands-on data analysis and predictive analytics on large datasets
• Supporting and driving analytic efforts around machine learning and innovation

Qualifications Include:

• MS or PhD in Applied Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Statistics or related technical field
• 5+ years experience in data mining and predictive analytics w/ machine learning/statistical modeling techniques
• 5+ years of advanced data science tools such as R or Python
• Experience with wrangling large datasets with big data tools such as Hadoop, Hive and Spark
• Experience applying computational algorithms and statistical methods to structured and unstructured data
