Job Summary
A content delivery network is filling a position for a Telecommute Principal Software Edge Apps Team Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Crafting architecturally sound systems that brings our power and speed to images, videos, and more
- Driving the vision for scalability, security, performance and reliability in all the applications supported by the team
- Providing solutions to strategic and sophisticated technical problems, and influencing the organization with new ideas
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Experience with compiled languages like Rust or Go
- Hands-on technical leadership for highly scalable & reliable software
- Expertise building, analyzing, profiling, or debugging large-scale distributed systems
- Ability to mentor other engineers and pair programming with them as needed
- Ability to identify new areas of opportunity in existing products and design solutions to support those efforts
- Ability to contribute ideas for iterative improvements to both code and culture
