Job Summary

A non-profit company is seeking a Telecommute Regional Advocacy Manager.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Recruiting and implementing volunteer-based advocacy structures
  • Identifying, training and managing high-level volunteers
  • Developing state based action alerts and digital engagement campaigns

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Ability to travel within assigned multi-state territory
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5+ years of experience in community/political organizing, electoral campaigns, other grassroots organization functions, and/or lobbying
  • Previous political, policy or advocacy experience and advanced knowledge of state and federal legislative process required
  • Proven ability to identify, recruit, and develop strong working relationships with patients and volunteers
  • Experience working across multiple functions within an organization to achieve goals with enterprise-level impact
