Job Summary
A software company is filling a position for a Telecommute Rental Platform Design Cloud Engineer.
Must be able to:
- Design this platform with an eye towards high availability, reliability, maintainability, and upgradeability
- Implement microservices, and explore new approaches to data modeling
- Develop and implement an efficient yet scalable cloud architecture using python and other languages
Qualifications for this position include:
- Sound experience developing highly-available, back-end cloud applications, deploying and maintaining in production environments
- Experience with AWS and an understanding of how to keep costs down when building out an infrastructure there
- Proficiency with SQL and data modeling, and experience designing elegant and intuitive REST APIs
- Experience with container development and deployment of Docker images in Kubernetes clusters
- A good understanding of serverless/microservice architecture and design principles
