Job Summary
A nonpartisan, nonprofit research, development, and service agency needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Research Associate I.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting with instrument development
- Building, maintaining, merging, and managing datasets
- Developing coding schemes for qualitative data
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to manage overnight travel as part of project work
- Graduate degree in child development, education, psychology, or related field
- Research and evaluation methodology, measurement, and qualitative and quantitative data analysis
- Programming experience in at least one major statistical package
- Experience conducting applied research or evaluation in education, psychology, and/or social sciences
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn to use new technology
