Job Summary

A software technology company is seeking a Telecommute Ruby Senior Software Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Write clean, readable Ruby code
  • Own the success of projects and deliver quantifiable results in a timely manner
  • Help our systems scale while architecting and implementing new features

Qualifications for this position include:

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years experience developing large-scale backend systems
  • Experience writing web applications in Ruby
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and CI/CD
  • Experience with AWS, Redshift, handling large data sets, or fluentd is preferred, but not required.
