Job Summary

A university is filling a position for a Telecommute Scholarly Writing Course Series Adjunct Faculty Member.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Provide direct writing support to doctoral-level students
  • Provide effective instruction in literature searching
  • Mentor cohorts through the full sequence of classes

Required Skills:

  • Ability to teach coursework onsite or in a virtual classroom
  • Doctorate in composition and/or rhetoric, and experience working in education or related field OR
  • Doctorate in education or related field, and a MA in composition and/or rhetoric
  • 3-5 years direct experience teaching online student in graduate-level writing
  • Publicly support the Christian mission of the university
  • Other skills and experience as outlined by company
