Job Summary
A staffing agency has an open position for a Telecommute Security Consultant in Fairfax.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Preparing SSPs, plans of action and milestones (POA&M), and other written documentation
- Closely examining your clients' security policies and take measures to test and execute procedure
- Validating client’s security plans to ensure that NIST control requirements are implemented
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to work remotely 50% of the time
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or other business management field
- 3-6 years of experience in the IT security related systems controls
- Some basic knowledge of networking components and various operating systems used in a cloud environment (i.e. Unix)
- Must have active US clearance, or be able to obtain one
- Expertise in the applicable NIST publications including 800-37 Rev 1, 800-53 Rev 3 or 4, 800-53 Rev 1
