Job Summary

A software platform company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Security Software Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Help define and maintain formal security practices and policies
  • Provide general education on company security practices to engineering team
  • Work with DevOps and service engineers to build necessary logging and monitoring to track and audit user activity throughout the platform

Qualifications Include:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a full-time security engineer
  • At least 6 years in software engineering overall (security or otherwise)
  • A proven track record of securing cloud SaaS products in a company
  • A strong instinct to automate your work
  • A champion of sustainable security practices and have shown you can rally individuals and teams
  • An open, scientific, and critical mind that backs up decisions with data and humility
