Job Summary

An insurance company is filling a position for a Telecommute Senior Applications Support Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Providing level 3 technical analysis / support for customer incident tickets
  • Providing deep dive analysis on application problem records
  • Providing IT Operations support for a large, critical enterprise web application

Position Requirements Include:

  • UNIX shell scripting capability
  • Experience with REST principles and various HTTP codes
  • Experience using Tomcat or a similar Enterprise Application Server
  • 3 years of experience in Core Java, J2EE technologies, Maven, ANT, Java Spring
  • Understanding on API Throttling, Security and traffic management using WSO2
  • Experience with CI and CD tools including Git and Jenkins
