Job Summary

A computer software company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Senior Backend Drupal Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Design and implement new features and functionality, establishing and guiding the website's architecture
  • Identify and communicate scope creep, changes, and roadblocks that may impact your projects proactively
  • Develop and enhance custom Drupal modules and themes

Position Requirements Include:

  • Deep knowledge of PHP, PHP files and theme functions, and knowledge of the Drupal theme layer
  • Experience creating and extending custom Drupal modules
  • Experience developing user friendly web solutions in Drupal
  • Experience with PHP object-oriented design patterns and frameworks
  • Ability to write JavaScript with and without the use of frameworks such as jQuery
