Job Summary

A non-profit organization needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Senior Category Manager.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Developing and ensuring implementation of Category Management principles
  • Using an influence model to gain stakeholder buy-in
  • Leading improvement in effectiveness, efficiency and control for assigned Spend Category

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Management or related field required
  • 7+ years procurement experience, 5+ years’ experience managing categories and spend within large organization with track record
  • Ability to develop business cases, presentations & stakeholder communications
  • Ability to clearly communicate strategy, plans and issues across the organization
  • Strong financial acumen coupled with a solid understanding of business structures, processes, and information flow in a multi-business unit organization
