Job Summary

A software company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer.

Must be able to:

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks
  • Take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures
  • Define and develop software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area
  • 7 years of software engineering or related experience
  • Expert-level knowledge and strong hands-on experience with Linux and Unix platform
  • Strong experience scripting in Bash and Python
  • Experience with Linux virtualization/container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker
  • All other requirements necessary for this position
